English as a Second Language (ESL)

What is an ESL Program?

English as a Second Language (ESL), also called English as Foreign Language (EFL), is an English language study program for non-native speakers.

Most ESL programs have small classes so that students receive individual attention from their teachers. Victory Christian Academy offers ESL classes that teach the following: conversational English, grammar, reading, listening comprehension, writing, and vocabulary.

In addition to studying English, ESL students also participate in the cultural and social activities of the school and community where they study.  Our guest students also contribute their unique cultural experiences to the life of our school and community, expanding not only their own global perspectives but also those of their fellow students.
