PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Health 

This course is required for every student.  It is designed to offer the student an understanding of the inter-relatedness of spirit, mind, body, and emotions and how these affect one’s well-being. 

Physical Education 

In this course students explore the relationship of a healthy body composition and a making healthy lifestyle choices.  Students explore topics such as cardio-respiratory endurance, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility implemented, learned, and practiced through different instructional strategies.  Students are challenged to connect lessons from physical activity and concepts presented into their daily lifestyle and build and maintain their physical health and wellness.
